About The Position

The Territory Associate is a strategic partner to the Business Development Representative (BDR), driving the process excellence necessary for the sales team to remain market focused. This role owns the end-to-end follow-up and closing process for projects below a defined dollar threshold, ensuring those opportunities are nurtured effectively into orders. Through partnerships with territory BDRs and active management of territory shared correspondence, this position maintains team alignment and provides continuity across all project activity. Proficiency in Salesforce and the Microsoft Office Suite is imperative for managing these workflows. Success in this role requires a proactive, self-starter mindset characterized by exceptional organizational skills and flexibility to navigate shifting priorities. The ideal candidate is a skilled multi-tasker, adept at juggling administrative demands while maintaining the focus necessary to drive projects forward through high-level team collaboration.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred, with 3–5 years of sales or customer service experience; strong decision-making and analytical skills; basic math proficiency and familiarity with measurement tools, construction, and installation.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, sit, or walk for up to 5 hours.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and the Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Implement the company’s Go-To-Market Strategy in partnership with the territory BDR(s).
  • Responsible for the funnel lifecycle, ensuring all opportunities below the regional dollar threshold are tracked, nurtured, and successfully converted into closed orders.
  • Partner with BDRs to stay ahead of client needs, handling shared correspondence and follow-ups as needed to keep projects moving forward without delay.
  • Partner with BDRs to co-manage Salesforce data, ensuring pipeline accuracy and high-level CRM hygiene to drive territory strategy.
  • Act as the central point of contact for multi-segment opportunities, facilitating internal communication across business units to provide the customer with a unified, streamlined purchasing experience.
  • Provide targeted assistance to BDRs on late-stage opportunities, acting as a closing specialist to help navigate final hurdles and drive orders across the finish line while the BDR maintains primary project lead.
  • Serve as a key liaison between sales and internal departments to advocate for project needs and ensure cross-functional alignment.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong professional relationships with territory contractors, serving as a reliable point of contact for project finalization and a seamless ordering experience.
  • Collaborate as a peer with BDRs to execute project specific tasks – such as sample coordination and documentation – directly removing operational hurdles to accelerate and secure the close.
  • Develop and maintain product knowledge to provide consultative technical guidance to clients.
