About The Position

The Territory Account Representative – Distribution for the US South Region (GC and GCE) is a key role dedicated exclusively to managing and expanding distribution within the direct sales territory. This position will lead distribution partner engagement, drive sales growth through indirect channels, and collaborate closely with direct sales, channel leadership, and distributor organizations. The role requires strong relationship management, training capability, and strategic execution to strengthen Chemelex’s presence and performance across Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical or business related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in heat tracing and/or electrical distribution sales
  • Willingness to travel significantly within the US South region- primarily Houston, Louisiana, Mississippi.
  • Strong relationship building skills with the ability to train, influence, and collaborate across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple accounts and initiatives across a wide geographic region.
  • High level of integrity, ownership, and accountability.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms, Microsoft Office tools, and distributor systems
  • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, highly collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary owner of all distribution activities in the direct sales region, ensuring alignment, consistency, and accountability.
  • Sign, develop, and manage new stocking distributor partners as strategically determined
  • Coordinate all inquiries from stocking and non-stocking distribution customers, ensuring timely resolution and alignment with regional objectives.
  • Work closely with the direct sales team on distributor related projects, opportunities, and customer engagements to ensure unified market execution.
  • Deliver comprehensive product and services training to distribution sales teams to increase market competency and drive adoption of Chemelex solutions.
  • Conduct joint sales calls with distributor teams to communicate Chemelex value proposition and expand customer reach.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report distribution performance to channel partners, regional leadership, and direct sales management.
  • Provide insights on growth opportunities, competitive penetration, and account development progress.
  • Travel regularly to distribution branches across the US South, with emphasis on Texas and Louisiana, to support relationship building, training, and sales activation.
  • Drive topline revenue and profit expansion through distribution as a force multiplier—particularly in competitive, developing, and dormant accounts.
  • Assist with material management, shipments, debits/credits, and other operational needs related to distribution of SKUs.
  • Support co-branded marketing initiatives and materials in partnership with distributor organizations.
