About The Position

At EquipmentShare, we are building a team to transform the construction industry by empowering contractors and communities through innovative technology, real-time support, and a dedicated team. We are hiring a Territory Account Manager for our rental facility in Columbus, MS. This role involves expanding the existing customer base by building relationships with contractors and construction company principals. Core Solutions branches offer a variety of construction equipment rentals, including aerial, earth moving, and material handling equipment.

Requirements

  • Tenacious and innovative and possesses superior outside sales experience and skills with a proven sales track record.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical aptitude to adapt to the fast pace of a growing company and stay continuously educated on the latest EquipmentShare products and services.
  • Competitive, self-motivated and results driven, but thrive in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to manage strategic and national accounts.
  • Employment is contingent on passing a background check.
  • Some roles require passing a drug test, depending on the job responsibilities.

  • Heavy Construction Equipment or Industry knowledge (rental or construction) with experience in B2B sales.

Responsibilities

  • Territory management of a geographical area.
  • Responsible for the full sales strategy execution from market analysis, sales forecasting, pipeline management and revenue growth, through contract negotiation and customer retention.
  • Quickly respond to inbound leads and requests.
  • New business development and Client acquisition/Account development.
  • Expand our existing customer base by building relationships with contractors and construction company principals.
  • Educate customers on how EquipmentShare solves their problems.
  • Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships to ensure 100 percent satisfaction with the level of service and support.
  • Keep customers up-to-date about new or additional ways in which EquipmentShare can help improve their business with comprehensive jobsite solutions.
  • Promptly respond to and resolve customer inquiries, requests, complaints or other communications.
  • Conducts sales presentations to prospective and existing customers.
  • Develop new sales strategies and techniques to increase market share and improve customer experience.
  • Manages and supports job site activities and projects with remote and on site involvement.
  • Assists with Equipment rental, sales, and service when needed by customers on-site.
