About The Position

The Territory Account Manager is responsible for developing sales strategies, identifying leads, proactively prospecting, selling, and attracting new clients. The Account Manager will also meet regularly with prospective new clients in his or her assigned territory to deliver sales presentations on industrial and container services to customers, follow up with key decision-makers, grow revenue and maintain relationships at all levels new and current customers.

Responsibilities

  • Identify new prospects, develop business relationships and close business using a variety of provided and other information sources.
  • Effectively present and discuss the product and services of the company to prospective customers.
  • Use professional proposal and presentation tools and writing.
  • Utilize Salesforce to track prospects and maintain customer contract renewals to ensure timely renewals.
  • Close sales and build relationships on all levels using various customer sales methods (construction site visits, headquarter visits, phone calls, etc.)
  • Develop a strategic sales plan that identifies prospects and customers prioritize them according to importance and ability to provide results. Take ownership of specific key accounts as assigned to grow measurable revenue.
  • Skilled negotiator that can deliver outcomes that provide a customer or prospect a solution for their needs while keeping the company’s interests addressed.
  • Enjoys the challenge of unfamiliar tasks, quickly learns when facing new situations, is open to change and works to find the solution.
