About The Position

Covering the Wyoming, IL area, you’ll start your day planning routes and prioritizing prospects in the CRM. By mid-morning you’re meeting potential customers face-to-face—listening, uncovering needs, and shaping tailored solutions. Afternoons might include preparing a polished presentation, collaborating with marketing on a micro-campaign to boost visibility, and making strategic cold and warm calls. You’ll close the loop by logging activity, forecasting your pipeline, and ensuring you’re pacing to beat your targets. Trade shows and local industry events keep you close to the market and fuel your next wins.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success in outside sales or a closely related role.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Strong time management; confident working independently in the field.
  • Fluency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office.
  • Negotiation and closing skills that turn opportunities into revenue.
  • Self-motivation with a results-first mindset.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent; business-related degree a plus.
  • Customer service that creates repeat buyers and referrals.
  • Accurate measuring and quoting to support confident purchasing decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively grow new business through networking, prospecting, and cold outreach in the field.
  • Develop long-term client relationships by understanding needs and delivering exceptional service.
  • Track market movements to spot trends and uncover new growth opportunities.
  • Create and deliver persuasive sales presentations and demos to decision-makers.
  • Partner with marketing to execute tactics that raise brand visibility and attract prospects.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, from activities and notes to pipeline and forecasts.
  • Consistently achieve and surpass sales goals and KPIs.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events to expand reach and credibility.
