About The Position

The Outside Sales team has been the face of DoorDash to our merchant partners since our founding in 2013. Stationed locally, this team creates deep partnerships with the most coveted local and regional restaurants in any given geography. Our Outside Sales team is the revenue driving arm of DoorDash and ensures the growth of our SMB partnerships which help strengthen operations, accelerate consumer growth, and improve our bottom line. This is a field sales opportunity based out of the cities specified above. You will need to live in or in proximity to the market.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a closing sales role.
  • Experience exceeding sales goals.
  • Experience selling multi-product solutions.
  • Ability to approach challenges from the fundamentals.
  • Creative sales tactics to engage with prospects.
  • Experience using a CRM (Salesforce) and Google Apps.

Responsibilities

  • Join a team of experienced sales professionals focused on new restaurant acquisition.
  • Prospect, meet with, and close partnerships with local and regional restaurants.
  • Sell new products and services to restaurant owners while uncovering their pain points.
  • Report into sales leadership and have direct access to resources for career growth.
  • Travel within the region to meet with merchants and collaborate in person.
  • Share insights with sales leadership and operations team.
  • Mentor teammates on best practices in sales.
