Join the Alyeska Resort team as a Terrain Park Crew member and contribute to the design, construction, and maintenance of our exhilarating Terrain Parks. As a key player in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our snowboarders and skiers, you'll work closely with the Terrain Parks supervisors and Mountain Management to bring the slopes to life. What You’ll Do Collaborate in the design and construction of all Terrain Parks trails, incorporating innovative features to elevate the overall riding experience. Execute regular maintenance tasks on Terrain Parks trails in accordance with instructions from Terrain Parks supervisors and Mountain Management to ensure optimal conditions. Strategically place signage at key locations to inform snowboarders and skiers about Terrain Park information and guide them through appropriate gates. Work harmoniously with other resort departments, fostering a cooperative spirit to enhance the overall guest experience. Interact respectfully with all guests and fellow employees, embodying the customer service values of Alyeska Resort. Provide support for various mountain events, contributing to the success and seamless execution of resort activities. Other duties as assigned. Essential Skills and Experience Embrace an extremely flexible work schedule, accommodating long shifts as needed for operational requirements. Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills, ensuring effective collaboration with team members. Possess manual dexterity to use various tools and equipment, with the ability to lift and carry a minimum of 100 lbs. Skiing or snowboarding experience on ungroomed surfaces is essential. Ability to work in various weather conditions, including exposure to cold and heat, demonstrating resilience in inclement weather. Prior experience in snowmobile operation is preferred, showcasing your versatility in handling resort equipment. Why Alyeska?
