About The Position
Aptive Environmental is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Termite Inspector to join our team in Princeton Junction, NJ. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage of $19, with the potential to earn an additional $7,000 to $12,000 per month through commissions. As a Termite Inspector, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our residential pest control customers, ensuring their homes are protected from termite infestations. You will engage with customers in a friendly and respectful manner, answering their questions and providing clear, concise information about our services. Your role will involve scheduling and confirming appointments promptly and professionally, adhering to company guidelines for personal grooming and hygiene. You will conduct thorough inspections of both the interior and exterior areas of properties, identifying locations conducive to termites and recommending preventative measures. Additionally, you will be tasked with identifying signs of termite activity, such as mud tubes, damaged wood, and droppings, and distinguishing between active and inactive infestations by analyzing signs of recent activity. Documentation is a key part of your responsibilities; you will accurately report the status of termite colonies and articulate expectations for curative treatments. You will provide detailed explanations of inspection results to customers, demonstrating how the treatment will effectively address the specific issues found during the inspection. Furthermore, you will develop clear and detailed diagrams of the property, highlighting where the termite treatment system will be placed, ensuring that the diagrams are easy to understand and accurately represent the planned installation.
