About The Position

Find your future at Fastenal! Our distribution center is hiring energetic, team oriented individuals to work in our fast pace warehouse! Working as Full-time Terminal Warehouse Support, you will assist a team of drivers at 1570 W Stearns Rd, Bartlett, IL in loading trucks and pre-departure paperwork. As well as, sorting product that is brought back to the HUB by the driver. Fastenal Company is committed to environmental protection and to providing a safe and healthy workplace for all employees. Requirements

• 18 years of age or over, due to the nature of work
• Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
• Proficient written and oral communication skills
• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Work independently as well as in a team environment
• Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
• Willingness to load and unload trailers
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule/extra time as needed
• Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs
• Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

Responsibilities

• Assisting drivers with pre-departure duties
• Sorting product and loading trucks
• Completing and processing paperwork
• Maintain the cleanliness/organization of work area
• Complying with health, safety and sustainability rules and expectations
• Participating in activities and programs that help the company achieve health, safety and sustainability objectives
• Learning, passing, and practicing various environmental health and safety trainings
