About The Position

Persons employed as a Terminal and Pipeline Operator is expected to operate valves and manifolds for vessel off-loading and ensure required procedures are followed as required by the company and USCG. The position involves performing essential job functions in varying weather and environmental conditions, such as precipitation, extreme temperatures, jet engine fumes, dust, and noise. Tasks are performed inside and outside near stationary and moving aircraft (including spinning propellers and engines).

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass background checks (criminal and motor vehicle), drug tests.
• Receive and maintain issuance of an airport security badge.
• Must be insurable by the company's insurance policies.
• Legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
• Maintains a valid Driver's License with a clear driving abstract for the past 3 years.
• High School Diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and write in English and perform basic math calculations.
• Must be able to lift 50-100lbs on occasion.
• Must provide documentation necessary to apply for and receive a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card.

Responsibilities

• Operates valves and manifolds for vessel off-loading.
• Ensures required procedures are followed as required by the company and USCG.
• Operates valves and manifolds for product receipt from supplies via pipeline tanker or barge deliveries.
• Performs personnel training.
• Maintains department operations reports and records.
• Participates in emergency response drills.
• Performs fuel quality control testing.
• Performs janitorial and ground maintenance functions.
• Complies with the station's attendance/tardiness policy.

Benefits

• Pay starting rate for this position is $24.33 / hour, per the collective bargaining agreement.
