About The Position

The position is located in La Crosse, WI, and involves ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations. The role requires the implementation of the Quikrete Quality Assurance Policy, coordination of product receipt, storage, handling, and shipment, as well as maintenance of terminal property and equipment. The candidate will also be responsible for industrial maintenance experience on equipment and machinery, ensuring inspection programs are followed, and managing compliance with the Quikrete Safety Program. The position demands effective communication with various stakeholders, including sales personnel, terminal managers, and contractors, to ensure operational efficiency and safety. The role also includes managing inventory policies and ensuring quality standards are met.

Requirements

  • Industrial maintenance experience on equipment and machinery.
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools.
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with various teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with all company policies and applicable local, state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Ensure Quikrete Quality Assurance Policy is fully implemented.
  • Coordinate the receipt, storage, handling, and shipment of all products.
  • Maintain terminal property and equipment.
  • Ensure mobile and stationary equipment inspection programs are fully implemented.
  • Ensure all data in SAP pertaining to terminal inventories, product received and shipped is accurate.
  • Coordinate rail and truck receiving/dispatch with CVC, truck and rail teams.
  • Coordinate loading hours with Quikrete Ready Mix facilities and transportation companies.
  • Manage compliance of the Quikrete Safety Program.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental policy.
  • Ensure the terminal runs efficiently and in compliance with Safety regulations and Quikrete policies.
  • Manage inventory policies and perform daily reconciliations.
  • Schedule extended work hours if needed to meet product demand.
  • Ensure the Quality policy is followed and communicate any issues.
  • Promote Quikrete name/brand and ensure good community stewardship.
  • Perform rail loading and unloading.
  • Operate hand and power tools.
