About The Position

Serve as an entry level operator in the movement and storage of all products within the terminal, pipeline and right-of-way. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Safely and efficiently transfer products from and to tank trucks, tanks, and small containers such as drums.Gauge and sample storage tanks to determine inventory and custody received and/or delivered amount. This task requires climbing stairs on loading racks, tanks and various terminal walkways.Assure correct alignment of tank and manifold valves for movement of product in and out of the terminal.Load and unload product to/from trucks at the terminal.Coordinate all pipeline movements, from the terminal, with the pipeline control room operator.Daily use of computers for communications, training and inventory purposes.Compliance with all Company Safety Rules and Regulations while performing all duties, and attendance to all assigned training courses for operations and safety.Assist Maintenance Department as required to perform various minor maintenance duties.Perform periodic inspections of tanks and equipment as directed by supervision.Perform any duty as assigned by supervision.Ability to accept supervision/direction and work cooperatively with other people.Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Degree or equivalent
  • Through successful work history, demonstrate the ability serve as an entry level operator to safely and efficiently transfer products in rail car, truck, vessel and tank operations.
  • Good oral and written communications.
  • Basic computer skills (send and receive email, perform inventory accounting, and enter repair work orders)
  • Ability to successfully complete pre-employment drug screen and background check upon job offer.
  • A driving history satisfactory with Company's standards, as well as its insurers.
  • Ability to attain and maintain TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) as issued by DHS.
