About The Position

The Terminal Operator role involves unloading grain and grain by-products from trucks and rail cars, maintaining a clean and safe work environment and facility, distinguishing different products and reporting abnormalities to supervisors, and following all safety rules and instructions from the Superintendent, Assistant, or Lead. This position requires physical demanding work, often in dirty conditions and exposed to outside elements.

Requirements

• Must be able to handle vibrators, car door openers, spud bars, & sledge hammers
• Must be able to distinguish different products and report any abnormities to supervisor
• Be able to work a combination of 8, 10, & 12 hour shifts consisting of days, nights & weekends
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in dirty conditions and exposed to outside elements
• Must wear all required PPE for the jobs being performed
• 0 - 3 Years of Work Experience

Responsibilities

• Unload grain and grain by-products from trucks and rail cars
• Opening gates and doors on both trucks and rail cars
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and facility
• Distinguish different products and report any abnormities to supervisor
• Follow instructions of Superintendent, Assistant or Lead
• Follow all LDC safety rules and procedures
• Responsible for a clean work area, clean facility and general maintenance
• Assist in all areas of the facility as needed
