About The Position

The Terminal Operator is responsible for overseeing operational activities at the terminal, including product sampling, testing, facility inspections, and loading/unloading products. The role emphasizes safety and compliance with regulations, requiring the operator to complete necessary training and maintain accurate documentation of all activities performed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required.
• Mechanical aptitude is required.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Strong commitment to personal and job safety is essential.
• Good verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations required for the job.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain good working relationships within a team environment.
• Must be able to work independently and with a team.

Nice To Haves

• 2 years of LPG experience or a combination of work and education is preferred.
• Terminal loading system experience is preferred.
• Technical certification or equivalent training/experience in a processing plant, pipeline, or similar industry is desired.
• Electrical aptitude is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate process-related equipment and perform preventative maintenance.
• Conduct product quality sampling and testing.
• Measure products and perform basic product accounting.
• Load and unload rail tank cars and trucks while handling flammable and corrosive chemicals.
• Adhere to established company operating, maintenance, and emergency response procedures.
• Perform regular safety inspections as per company policy.
• Maintain required records and filing systems.
• Conduct building, yard, and property maintenance, including mowing and debris removal.
• Ensure regular attendance at the worksite.
