About The Position
This position is accountable for the operation, personnel supervision, and the service to customers as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in business related field or equivalent business experience in the transportation industry
- Excellent conflict resolution skills
- Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to influence
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office
Responsibilities
- Manage and schedule equipment to ensure alignment with company standards
- Partner with terminal manager to plan and carry out shipping operations
- Provide frontline customer service for internal and external customers
- Promote and develop safe work behaviors in line with the company's safety programs and objectives
- Communicate effectively with customers, drivers, dispatchers, vendors and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Administrative support
- On-call duties as needed
