Requirements

  • Comfortable performing physical labor (lifting, climbing, and securing lines)
  • Candidates must:
  • Possess a High School diploma or GED
  • Have reliable transportation to and from work daily
  • Pass a post-offer process of an offer is made (background check, drug screen, and physical)
  • Can carry more than fifty pounds on a regular basis unassisted
  • Must be able to read and write the English language

Responsibilities

  • Loading and unloading of trucks, rail cars and barges along the Mississippi River
  • Performing general dock maintenance and cleanup
  • Securing cargo and supporting crane and heavy equipment operators
  • Assisting with line handling and barge positioning
  • Following Zero Harm safety processes and procedures for a safe work environment
