The Terminal Manager at Dunavant Sea Lane Express, LLC is responsible for overseeing all aspects of intermodal drayage trucking operations. This includes managing daily operations, profit and loss, achieving budget goals, sales, contractor recruiting and retention, facility maintenance, and office personnel management. The role is hands-on, requiring a comprehensive understanding of the operations involved. The Terminal Manager must have prior experience in intermodal drayage to effectively lead the terminal's activities and ensure operational efficiency and profitability. The position demands a commitment to after-hours work due to the workload requirements, and the manager will be expected to engage with the team beyond standard office hours. The Terminal Manager will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Operations and will be based in Atlanta, GA. In this role, the Terminal Manager will develop and implement terminal strategies, ensuring that the terminal is adequately staffed and that all personnel are properly trained. They will oversee property management, leases, safety, and security at the terminals. The manager will directly monitor day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and profitability, assist in developing operational and sales strategies, and work closely with the sales team to secure adequate revenue. Additional responsibilities include managing the terminal budget, overseeing capital expenditures, operating expenses, and profit and loss statements, and ensuring compliance with operational processes and procedures. The Terminal Manager will also handle various tasks related to the terminal and provide backup support as needed, including travel to attend meetings and conferences.
