Ingram Infrastructure operates multiple marine terminals that handle commodities critical to the US economy. Ingram Infrastructure Group is owned by Ingram Marine Group which is the largest barge line in the United States and operates across America’s inland waterways, moving bulk commodities that keep the country running. As an industry leader, we operate a fleet of towboats and barges carrying aggregates, grain, fertilizer, coal, ores, alloys, steel products, chemicals, and more. Responsible for managing a terminal business to include financial performance, operational efficiency, and safety for all associates working at the facility. Ensures compliance with all safety, permits, government regulations, and company policies and procedures. Plan and implement necessary changes that occur when operational or environmental tasks change while coordinating with internal and external service providers. Ensures work performed at the terminal is performed in compliance with OSHA and other government regulations, company policies and procedures. Work with the SVP and General Manager and Traffic Manager to schedule the safe and efficient handling of customer cargo. Actively engage with the associates daily through visual, onsite management. Oversee all facility associates ensuring all work in the facility is being performed in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner Participate in the training, development, and technical education of new associates Manage financial performance including P/L, capital expenditures, and third-party contractors and service providers. On a monthly basis, oversee, maintain and adjust facility budget as necessary Assigns work tasks as necessary based on company needs Coordinates barge, rail and truck flow with the traffic department and customer service. Coordinate maintenance requirements with the maintenance team and work to perform preventive maintenance during terminal downtime or slow periods. Communicate with the traffic department on barge, rail, and truck issues. Develop, maintain, and provide operational feedback on both internal and external Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) across all modes of operation. Assists with HSE staff with the conducting of quarterly and annual facility audits.
