About The Position

Quality Carriers is currently seeking an experienced chemical bulk Terminal Manager to join our team in Navassa, NC. As a Terminal Manager, you are responsible for the daily management of terminal operations, including dispatch and driver supervision; customer service and satisfaction; billing and terminal profitability.

Requirements

• 5+ years Supervisory experience in a trucking environment
• HS Diploma required
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Strong business acumen
• Working knowledge of budgets (P&Ls)
• Problem solver

Nice To Haves

• Business Degree preferred
• 5+ years bulk tank truck experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervising daily dispatch functions (i.e. assisting with decision making and driver management)
• Driver recruitment, retention, payroll, correcting settlement issues, maintenance and enforcement of safety compliance
• Monitoring dispatched loads to ensure equipment coverage and availability
• Customer Service in regards to rates, service, and resolution
• Monitoring terminal expenses and revenue
