WE Transport Inc. is seeking a qualified individual to provide leadership and guidance to dispatchers and other staff. The role involves overseeing the NYC OPT student database system, managing routing schematics, billing, fuel, and mileage, and implementing policies while managing union contracts. The successful candidate will routinely conduct staff meetings to encourage communication throughout the workplace, monitor expenses, solve customer complaints, and find solutions to improve transportation services. Additionally, the position requires oversight of in-district and other customer contract requirements, preparation of documentation such as incident reports, and review and approval of payroll. Coordination with the Shop Manager for vehicle maintenance, repairs, and DOT scheduling is also essential. The role includes communication with parent and school district representatives, Safety Supervisors for safety-related issues, and the training department to ensure compliance of drivers and bus attendants.
