Dohrn is currently seeking a Terminal Facilities Assistant at our Rock Island, IL Terminal. Pay is $19.00/Hour Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm Benefits: Health/Vision/Dental insurance, 401k matching, life insurance, short/long term disability and more. Position Summary: To assist in the maintenance, cleanliness, and upkeep of components of facility buildings and grounds at all terminals and the Corporate office.

Requirements

Valid Driver License
Must have a beginner level of knowledge and experience with various skilled trades used in building and grounds repair and maintenance
Interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Computer skills including Microsoft Office
Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Must be organized and committed to performing high quality work
Must meet the physical requirements of the job
Must successfully pass a physical, functional screen and drug test
Ability to work independently while maintaining communication with supervisor
Excellent attendance

Responsibilities

Assist with the performance of manual labor and some skilled work at facilities for building and grounds maintenance and upkeep as needed including:
Outdoor grounds maintenance and upkeep- snow removal, yard work, removal of trash and debris
Empty Trash Receptacles
Maintain cleanliness of break rooms and restrooms
Operate floor sweeper
Operate forklift
Perform other duties as needed
