Terminal Driver (DOT-CDL)

As a Terminal Driver (DOT-CDL) at Fastenal, you will play a crucial role in our transportation team, representing our fleet as you deliver products from our distribution centers to various branches and customer on-site locations. This full-time position is based at our distribution center located at 1570 W Stearns Rd, Bartlett, IL 60103. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM. You will operate a safe, well-maintained, and late-model tractor-trailer, ensuring that deliveries are made efficiently and on time. The delivery trucks are pre-loaded by warehouse employees prior to your departure, and you will be responsible for unloading the freight at each stop along your route, which typically averages 10-12 stops per day. In this role, you will be expected to provide excellent service to our branches and customers, maintaining a clean work environment within your equipment and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of your work area. Compliance with health, safety, and sustainability rules and expectations is paramount, and you will participate in activities and programs that help the company achieve its health, safety, and sustainability objectives. Additionally, you will be required to learn, pass, and practice various environmental health and safety trainings to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
