About The Position

Martin Transport operates a fleet of tank trucks providing transportation of petroleum products, LP gas, molten sulfur, sulfuric acid, paper mill liquids, chemicals, dry bulk, and numerous other bulk liquid commodities. This position will prepare morning reports and a running inventory program for location. The role involves waiting on customers or truck drivers picking up loads, checking bill of Lading in Dispatch, checking logs and entering them in two different programs, with fuel tickets, and checking requests on accounts payable. Additionally, the position requires maintaining OSHA compliance files for the location, opening, sorting, and distributing incoming correspondence, including faxes and email, and performing general office duties such as ordering supplies and maintaining records management systems. The employee will also prepare responses to correspondence containing routine inquiries and perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalency or a combination of education/experience.
