The position involves answering telephones with a heavy call volume and directing calls accurately. Responsibilities include maintaining a count list of items received or shipped, preparing paperwork for OS&D freight, and reporting freight issues to terminal management. The role requires maintaining a clean OS&D area, coordinating delivery times with customers, and responding to inquiries regarding bills of lading. The employee will also handle customer complaints, investigate freight issues, and process claims and charges. Additional tasks include scanning bill of lading receipts, preparing bills for freight movement, and assisting with dispatch phones. Regular attendance is required, and the job may involve performing other duties as assigned.
