About The Position

The DePaul University School of Music seeks a highly qualified musician and educator for a full-time, non-tenure eligible position as Professional Lecturer of Cello. Responsibilities for this position include teaching applied lessons to cello majors, coaching chamber music, conducting a weekly studio class, working collaboratively with orchestra conductors, area coordinators, and the chair of performance studies; and recruiting a studio of diverse undergraduate and graduate cello students that meets the school's orchestra needs. Additional teaching and service may be assigned depending on the school's needs and the candidate's interests and expertise.
