Taylor University is seeking applications and nominations of distinguished candidates to teach in the Department of Mathematics. This is a tenure-track position beginning August 2026. Appointment of rank and salary are dependent upon qualifications and experience. Women and minorities are encouraged to apply. This position is primarily responsible to: [note: this is not an exhaustive list of tasks, but a summary of responsibilities] Testify to personal experience of salvation in Jesus Christ, affirm belief in the University's Statement of Faith, abide by and practice our Life Together Covenant, and both personally agree with and support the Foundational Documents of Taylor University. The appointee will teach a variety of foundational level mathematics courses as well as courses connected to departmental programs in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, and Data Science. The candidate should be comfortable with creative pedagogy with an emphasis on group work and problem solving. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and maintain an active program of research and scholarship, including faculty-mentored student scholarship. Participation in student advising, faculty governance responsibilities, membership in professional societies, and professional service is expected. Other duties as assigned.
