About the position

The Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Molecular and Systems Biology. The successful candidate will lead an independent research program focused on complex biological problems, utilizing various scientific approaches. This position offers a collaborative environment with opportunities for teaching and mentoring graduate students, as well as access to state-of-the-art research facilities and a generous start-up package.

Responsibilities

  • Direct an independent and innovative research program in molecular, cellular, or developmental biology, regeneration, neuroscience, or mechanisms of disease.
  • Utilize approaches in genetics, genomics, epigenetics, metabolomics, bioinformatics, or computational systems biology.
  • Mentor and teach graduate students in relevant PhD programs.
  • Collaborate with faculty across various departments and schools at Dartmouth.
  • Engage in service and contribute to the academic community.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree in a relevant field.
  • Relevant postdoctoral research experience.
