About The Position
The Tenure Track Faculty position in Counseling at Westshore Campus involves performing a full range of academic, personal, career, and transfer counseling activities with diverse student populations. Responsibilities include assisting college students in developing academic and career goals, creating educational academic plans for degree/certificate completion and/or transfer, and providing academic counseling in various curriculum areas. The role also includes engaging in outreach efforts, maintaining licensure, serving on committees, collaborating with staff, and participating in campus and community events. Additionally, the faculty member may teach General Studies courses and student success workshops, prepare course materials, evaluate student work, and maintain academic records. The position requires flexibility in scheduling, including day, evening, and weekend hours.
