The Physics Department in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of St. Thomas invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in experimental physics to start fall semester 2026. Research support will include start-up funds and laboratory space in the Physics department facility. This full-time position (9 month) involves a blend of teaching, professional engagement, service, and an expectation to engage undergraduate students in their research. The teaching load is 6 (4-credit) courses per year at the undergraduate level, which typically includes Introductory Physics and upper-level Physics courses and labs. Enthusiasm and aptitude for teaching undergraduate students is essential.
