About The Position
The Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Cultural Studies and Bilingual Writing at Northeastern Illinois University is a full-time position beginning in Fall 2025. The role is designed for candidates with a strong background in program administration and experience in first-year writing and/or creative writing. The ideal candidate will be bilingual or multilingual, with Spanish fluency being essential, and will contribute to both the World Languages and Cultures and English departments. Responsibilities include teaching courses in Cultural Studies, coordinating bilingual writing programs, and assisting with the first-year writing program to enhance the academic success of diverse students.
