About The Position

This is a year-round part-time position focused on providing private and group tennis instruction for adults and juniors of all ages and abilities, as assigned by the Director of Tennis. The role involves assisting with tournaments, leagues, and the growth of tennis clinics through a team approach to expand the tennis business. Applicants are required to submit 25 hours of availability per week.

Responsibilities

Understand and apply the Resort’s and Club’s mission statements to all work activities
Collaborate with Head Tennis Professional and Assistant Professional on all tennis related activities
Assist in teaching of Adult and Junior tennis activities including: Lessons, Leagues, Mixers, Tournaments and other related tennis activities
Help supervise junior tennis leagues
Lead young junior classes
String, or learn to string, tennis racquets using the USRSA’s standards
Assist in non-tennis related activities as needed
Assist with facility checks
Perform any/all duties assigned by manager
Understand and abide by environmental practices of the resort
Other duties as assigned
