About The Position

You will serve on a team whose job is to help Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort engage with all the guests at the Tennis and Pickleball Center. You will contribute to the success of the Resort by ensuring the guests have a positive experience in this outlet. By supporting our company’s Noble Purpose, your top priority will be to “care about our guests, and the impact you make on their lives.” You will help live out our company’s Noble Purpose by helping to hire staff members who will make a positive impact on our guests. Aid in hiring discussions and training of new employees. When interacting with each guest, leave them with a “WOW” story to tell about their experience. Share customer impact stories with your team in meetings and with management. Schedule all Reservationists for weekly schedules. Supervise all Reservationist activity. Help at the reservation desk as scheduled. Become proficient at CourtReserve and manage all setup of lessons and programs. Coordinate with pro’s court needs concerning group activity. Receive, check in, and tag new arrivals of merchandise. Set up and run inventory in conjunction with Regis. Formulate with group bookings and make necessary bookings to the court sheets. Establish all pricing and billing of group business keeping customizing and flexibility a priority. Create and price packages to market to various accommodations for group business. Interpret and enforce the policies, rules, and regulations of the Company. Check courts for playability following inclement weather.

Requirements

  • Should be knowledgeable and educated on areas of Hilton Head, Palmetto Dunes Resort and all areas of tennis and pickleball.
  • Cross training in the work areas involving tennis pros, merchandiser, reservations, food and beverage personnel and the Tennis Director.
  • Computer experience recommended. (Familiar with Microsoft Word, and Excel)
  • Orientation toward providing excellent customer service to our guests.
