About The Position

Provide instruction, and maintain membership through teaching, mentoring, and member mixers. Lead and/or assist in the instruction of our Junior Tennis Program. Help set up classes and follow/design a lesson plan for specific levels of tennis ability.

Requirements

• High School experience or better
• Tennis knowledge
• Communication, administrative, and teaching Skills

• Able to stand/teach tennis for long periods of time.
• Must maintain an up-beat, positive attitude and encouraging nature.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Understand and apply the Resort’s and Club’s mission statements to all work activities
• Collaborate with Head Tennis Professional and Assistant Professional on all tennis related activities
• Assist in teaching of Adult and Junior tennis activities including: Lessons, Leagues, Mixers, Tournaments and other related tennis activities
• Help supervise junior tennis leagues
• Lead young junior classes
• String, or learn to string, tennis racquets using the USRSA’s standards
• Assist in non-tennis related activities as needed
• Assist with facility checks
• Perform any/all duties assigned by manager
• Understand and abide by environmental practices of the resort
• Other duties as assigned
