About The Position

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Tenet Physician Resources for the Detroit Market is responsible for overseeing existing and newly acquired physician practices. This role involves coordinating with local hospitals and corporate departments to ensure effective start-up and onboarding activities, managing operational and financial performance, and leading strategic planning for physician practice development.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of practice management experience in a large multi-specialty group of physicians.
• Advanced understanding of physician practice start-up requirements, RVU principles, billing/collections, and accounts receivable management.
• Bachelor's degree in management or a related field; MHA or MBA preferred.
• Strong leadership skills and understanding of group processes and teamwork.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels and ability to analyze problems effectively.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Microsoft Access is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee existing physician practices and newly acquired practices in the Detroit Market.
• Coordinate with local hospitals and corporate departments for effective execution of start-up and onboarding activities.
• Manage physician employment agreement renewals and oversee Market Operations Councils.
• Monitor financial results for employed physician practices and manage volume growth initiatives.
• Participate in monthly operational and financial reviews with department leaders.
• Lead meetings with physicians and practice operations to identify opportunities for improving EBITDA and cash flows.
