From high-voltage direct current (HVDC) systems to advanced power quality solutions like STATCOM and SVC, our portfolio is expanding rapidly. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is excited to lead complex tenders that span technologies, geographies, and stakeholders. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to craft winning proposals that meet customer expectations and push the boundaries of innovation. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical preferred)
  • 4+ years of experience in tendering, bidding, or sales roles
  • Experience with Power Quality Solutions (e.g., STATCOM, SVC, Synchronous Condensers) or High Voltage Substations
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus)
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams to develop competitive tender strategies
  • Coordinate with suppliers, partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Analyze customer requirements and tailor solutions accordingly
  • Prepare and present offers aligned with technical and commercial standards
  • Evaluate risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Conduct competitive analysis and position Hitachi Energy for success
  • Present project risks and strategies to senior leadership
  • Drive continuous improvement in tendering processes
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines
