About The Position

Auto-Owners Insurance, a top-rated insurance carrier, is seeking a motivated individual to join our Warehouse team! This Warehouse Technician is a temporary position for summer 2025. This job consists of performing the processes and procedures that are needed to fulfill all customer orders and requests. This is done under general supervision.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate in a positive manner with branches, agents, and departments.
• Ability to understand and carry out written or verbal instructions.
• Basic computer knowledge may be required.
• A chauffeur’s license and a satisfactory driving record may be required.
• Ability to maintain a professional image.

Nice To Haves

• CDL license is preferred
• Able to safely operate materials handling equipment
• Basic knowledge of the SAP processes and how they are used in our Warehouse operation

Responsibilities

• Filling customer orders with a very high level of accuracy
• Build and install furniture
• Uninstall existing furniture
• Ability to determine appropriate packaging needed for damage free shipping
• Recognizes and reports inaccurate information on requests and orders
• Ability to operate shipping equipment and software
• Regularly participates in ensuring the accuracy of the inventory
• Regular and consistent attendance in meeting a defined work schedule
• Occasionally required to lift or move up to 75 pounds
• Good ability/experience with hand tools
• Assist with other duties as assigned within the department or elsewhere on request
• Good driving record, may require operation of a truck for supply delivery
