How will you make an impact? TSS’ Supply Chain is a critical Operations enabling Organization that ensures the smooth flow of procured material and services to the field, who support our customer base performing lifesaving and life-changing work. As the Supply Chain Specialist, you will focus on vendor management to create cost savings and leverage expertise in sourcing to provide support for alternative vendor sourcing. Therefore, the ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, self-directed, and a strong team player with experience in developing vendor relationships and implementing alternative sourcing strategies. This position is temporary & part time (20HRS) What will you do?

Requirements

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Requires some relevant customer service, mechanical and/or electrical experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to drive collaboration, commitment and productivity when working with cross functional teams and customers.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to continually learn new services.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision by employing effective time management and prioritization skills.
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of basic math including geometry and algebra.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

  • 2-year or 4-year degree preferred.
  • A combination of education, training and related experience may meet requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, and equipment to technicians.
  • Schedules repair and maintenance of TSS equipment, and vehicles in support of TSS operations.
  • Completes all required documentation and administrative tasks.
  • Coordinates field service technician equipment audits.
  • Provide technicians with technical and troubleshooting support.
  • Respond to TSS customer emergencies on an as need basis.
  • Complies with all company policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Maintains a productive, professional relationship with all TSS personnel.
  • Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.

Benefits

  • Compensation and Benefits Salary range of $20.00 - $27.00 hourly (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with industry data.)
