About The Position

The UB/ UBMS Summer Program Assistant provides group supervision of participants during the academic courses, lunch period, field trips and other program activities to ensure safety and appropriate behavior during the 6-week UB/ UBMS Summer Component at Texas Wesleyan University. Summer Program Assistant also provides tutoring assistance in related subjects; assists assigned Teacher/Staff with relevant duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision of assigned project participants during the academic courses, lunch period, field trips, and other program activities throughout the summer component
• Provide tutorial services to assigned project participants.
• Ensure the safety and appropriate behavior of project participants.
• Complete and submit contact reports documenting services provided to assigned participants
• Assists designated Teacher/Staff with class preparation, grading, and other duties as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Project Director.
