Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean, safe, orderly learning environment that contributes to children's development.
• Assists the lead teacher with planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Collaborates with classroom team members to plan and implement daily curriculum and individual education plans.
• Contributes to educational assessments using appropriate measures for children.
• Develops and maintains positive relationships with parents.
• Mentors and supports students working within the classroom environment.
• Displays a commitment to the early childhood field by meeting continuing education requirements.
• Displays professionalism by following guidelines and policies of SGS and Vanderbilt University.
