About The Position
Hyde Park Day School is the premier school for bright students with learning disabilities in the Chicago metropolitan area. Our teachers engage students in small groups with a 5:1 student-to-teacher ratio, ensuring individualized attention and support. We admit only bright students with learning disabilities and screen for behavioral and emotional concerns. Hyde Park Day School is a Wilson Language Training partner school. We train and certify our staff as part of our comprehensive professional development program. Hyde Park Day School offers a full-day program for students ages 6 to 15 with moderate to severe learning disabilities and average to above-average intelligence. With campuses in Hyde Park/Woodlawn, Northfield, and Lemont, we provide: A low student-to-teacher ratio A state-of-the-art technology program An integrated services approach Highly talented staff with comprehensive professional development A safe, nurturing environment designed to build self-esteem, confidence, and a genuine interest in learning The Hyde Park Day School Chicago Campus is seeking a Temporary Full-Time Teacher to cover a maternity leave from March 2026 through June 2026 . Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in elementary education and/or a core content area in secondary education
