Human Resources is glad to provide qualified individuals the opportunity to serve in Pepperdine’s temporary talent pool, responding to on-call, short-term, temporary assignments across University administration and all five schools. These temporary assignments are a wonderful way to become familiar with the people and departments of Pepperdine. Serving in the temporary talent pool is ideal for anyone seeking to gain additional experience or familiarity with the University as they explore full-time work opportunities, as well as those seeking flexible, varied, and/or short-term work opportunities. Common assignments include administrative support and customer service roles requiring strong computer and communication skills. Temporary talent pool members engaged in these assignments may serve to assist with special projects or substitute for full-time employees who are out of the office for an extended period of time. Upon the completion of a successful application and skills assessment, Human Resources will consider candidates of the temporary talent pool for assignments as they become available. The temporary talent pool is not designed to be a permanent arrangement, and is periodically adjusted to best serve our community and meet upcoming needs. If you would like to be considered for Pepperdine’s temporary talent pool, please submit an application and attach your resume and cover letter. Please use the cover letter to expand upon your skills and experience, as well as your availability and preferred campus(es).
