About The Position

This temporary position is a key partner in filling open positions at Children's Minnesota. This role is the primary point of contact with all applicants and candidates ensuring a positive experience throughout the recruitment process with Taleo ATS. The Talent Acquisition Specialist supports the day-to-day operations of the recruitment process and is responsible for screening resumes, phone interviewing, and the processing of internal churn and all pre-employment requirements. This position is hybrid (working out of Edina, MN office) and reports to the Talent Acquisition Manager.

Requirements

  • 2 years directly related HR experience, including hands-on recruiting.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • In lieu of degree, three years of administrative/Human Resources/recruiting related experience.

  • Proven ability to manage projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to evaluate resumes and identify key qualifications and experiences.
  • Proficiency in conducting effective phone screens and communicating with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Capability to manage the pre-employment process efficiently.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Ensuring accuracy in resume reviews, phone screens, and documentation.
  • Effective prioritization of tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Effective problem solving, process improvement and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
