About The Position

Clow Valve is looking for temporary summer help for our hydrant and valve departments. This is a temporary, full-time utility position. Weekend Shift - Friday, Saturday, Sunday 5am-5pm Starting Wage: $27.16

Requirements

Lifting/carrying of less than 50 pounds.
Standing greater than 6 hours per day.
Ability to work in extreme temperature conditions.
Ability to work around machinery.
Ability to use hand tools & do repetitive work.
Manufacturing Experience is considered.
Ability to wear PPE including but not limited to earplugs, safety glasses, metatarsal & guarded boots.

Responsibilities

Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and material
Positions parts and components by using work instructions.
Verifies specifications by testing product and visually inspecting quality.
Assembles products using hand tools and other equipment.
Resolves verifiable assembly problems to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources if needed.
Palletizes and gets product ready for shipment, once complete.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing production requirements as needed
