About The Position

This recruitment is for Temporary Custodian positions through UC Irvine's internal temporary staffing department. This is for temporary positions within the housing units for our Summer Housing Project, which is expected to run from June through October (exact dates to be determined). As this is a special project, pay rates have been increased for the duration of the project only (see compensation information below). Job duties include, but are not limited to: Perform routine cleaning and housekeeping duties across facilities, including floor care, dusting, and general upkeep. Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, fixtures, furniture, and interior spaces to maintain high cleanliness standards. Handle trash removal, window cleaning, and other assigned maintenance tasks as needed. Work independently or as part of a team under supervision to complete daily assignments efficiently. Interact with the public as needed based on work location and schedule.

Requirements

Custodial or related cleaning/housekeeping experience.
Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions in English.
