We operate two schools: Matchbook Learning at Wendell Phillips School 63, serving students in Kindergarten through 8th grade, and The Match High School and Career Center, which currently serves 9th grade and 10th students and will expand to include 11th grade students in the fall of 2026. We are seeking a Substitute Teacher for our College & Career Readiness Class (K–8) to join the team at Matchbook Learning at Wendell Phillips School 63. This is a full-time, temporary contracted position with a pay rate of $25.00 per hour. Wendell Phillips School 63 is seeking a Permanent Substitute Teacher for College & Career Readiness to support students in grades K–8. This position provides consistent daily coverage for our College & Career Readiness course, ensuring continuity, strong classroom culture, and meaningful student engagement. This is a low-prep, high-impact role—all lesson plans and instructional materials are provided. The ideal candidate is organized, punctual, firm and fair, open-minded, and receptive to coaching and support in order to grow and be successful in the role. This position will conclude in June 2026 and is ideal for candidates seeking stable school-year employment, future teaching experience, or meaningful work with students.
