As Temporary Student Support – Customer Analyst you will be providing analytical support to the Customer Sales team (Food Lion, Stop & Shop, Giant Company, Giant Food and Hannaford), collaborating with the Grocery Analyst team and serve as a primary point of contact to the Retail Sales team. This position is a part-time Temporary Student Support (TSS) assignment that will run through May 2026 with potential to convert to a full-time role. Overall, this role averages 20-29 hours per week. Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours at an accredited college or university working toward a degree in food marketing or business-related field. Senior status preferred
  • Excellent time management, a high degree of organization and analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Skilled in computer and software applications, which are critical in order to effectively execute the job, including Excel (pivot tables, formulas, etc)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • The ability to work a full shift, come to work on time, work overtime as needed and the ability to work according to the necessary schedule to meet job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation is an essential function of this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior CPG industry experience is a PLUS
  • Prior Syndicated data (Circana, Nielsen, etc.) experience in a PLUS

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing Data - You’ll be the team’s primary analytic resource, evaluating shipment data, sales performance, promotional effectiveness, and customer trends across key accounts. We’re looking to you to provide data-driven recommendations to optimize and grow the business.
  • Tracks key performance metrics like Sales Growth and Share against key benchmarks, while keeping up with weekly, monthly and ad-hoc deliverables.
  • Relationship Management- Works closely with Account Executives, Sales Director and Category Management to review business trends and provide input on opportunities to improve share, profit and gross sales volume.
  • Manage customer-facing initiatives such as display and new item setup.
  • Support Senior National Account Executives and WK Retail Teams- working closely with Senior National Account Executives to provide promotional information for the Retail Team to execute. You will also provide internal & external data/reporting to the NAE & Retail Team to analyze progress of key initiatives.
