About The Position

The Seasonal Peak Associate role at OSJL is a seasonal part-time or full-time position responsible for processing and preparing receipts of merchandise, fixtures, and supplies within the assigned location. This role also assists in moving, stocking, and replenishing merchandise on the sales floor and in receiving areas.

Requirements

Basic math and reading skills
Legible handwriting
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team to accomplish assigned goals

Nice To Haves

Prior merchandise receiving, handling, and stocking experience in other retail or warehouse environments is preferred

Responsibilities

Follow the Company’s freight management process when unloading.
Merchandise fixtures and other supplies from trucks before directing them to designated areas on the sales floor.
Prepare merchandise for the sales floor by removing it from packaging, verifying price information, and ticketing where necessary; process merchandise as directed and in accordance with Company procedures.
Perform ongoing recovery throughout a shift as needed, such as collect trash and compact cardboard.
Possess the ability to work independently and as a member of a team to accomplish assigned goals.
Operate a cash register as needed.
Recover receiving areas and sales floor prior to the end of each shift.
