About The Position
Ice and snow removal. The major responsibilities will include proper and safe use of hand shovels, power broom, small tractors and pickup trucks to remove snow and ice
Requirements
- Must meet and maintain TSA security requirements for unescorted access into the Airport's secured area and other Airport Operations Areas
- Must be able to pass background checks and pre-employment drug test
- Must have a valid Virginia Driver's License
- Have and maintain driving record acceptable to Roanoke Regional Airport Commission and its insurance carrier(s)
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to have a flexible schedule
- Willing and able to work in extreme weather conditions
- Be extremely reliable
- Must be able to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, holidays as needed
- Must have ability to fully comprehend instructions from on the job training and manuals
- Must have the ability to quickly demonstrate practical skills and knowledge from on the job training
- Must be available "on-call"
