About The Position
Cornell University welcomes candidates for the position of Temporary Reunion Set Up Worker in our Alumni Affairs and Development division, based in Ithaca, NY. This role presents an exceptional opportunity to contribute to Reunion 2026. Position Summary We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to assist our facilities team in preparing for and supporting our Reunion events from Thursday, June 4 through Sunday, June 7 (4 days only). This position is essential to ensuring a seamless experience for all attendees. Requirements
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Flexible availability
- Positive attitude and a strong sense of teamwork
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions (rain or shine)
- Ability to adapt to varying daily schedules and responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Prepare event grounds and facilities for activities
- Set up and break down event supplies such as tables, chairs, and decorations
- Install and remove tent walls
- Assist with custodial tasks and minor repairs as needed
