About The Position

The Temporary Research Assistant position at Wesleyan University involves collecting Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) data of geologic samples. Requirements

Responsibilities

• Mount and carbon coat valuable geologic samples.
• Collect binocular images, SEM images, EDS spectra and maps of geologic samples.
• Keep, maintain and organize records of lab methodologies, data reduction and analysis.
• Obtain data necessary to support externally funded research.
• Other duties as assigned.
